Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in Columbus will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in Ohio usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ7 pm. It is closed on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. I stopped by this food stall for lunch after seeing so many great reviews and decided to try the Chicken Safari, injera bread, and a sambusa. Since it was my first time trying this style of cuisine, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The food was flavorful, and I enjoyed getting to experience something new. While I thought everything was good, it didn't quite stand out enough to be memorable compared to some other meals I've had. One thing that did stand out was the service. The staff member who helped me was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer my questions, which made for a great overall experience. If you're looking to try Somali cuisine while visiting the North Market, this is a solid option with good food and excellent customer service.

Flavor packed, this place is. I stopped by Hoyo's Kitchen at North Market and ordered the Safari Chicken Bowl. It was outstanding. The chicken was incredibly tender and juicy, and every bite was loaded with bold, well-balanced flavor. The fresh vegetables, flavorful rice, and toppings all came together perfectly. I also tried the Pineapple Ginger Lemonade, which was refreshing and the perfect complement to the meal. The menu is simple to understand, making it easy to customize your bowl, and the staff was friendly and happy to answer questions. Seating is available upstairs on the second floor or outside if you'd like to enjoy your meal in the fresh air. One bowl was enough to convince me. A return visit, this deserves.

I found this place while visiting the market, and I'm glad I did. The food was very good and flavorful. I ordered the Suqaar Chicken with spicy rice and cabbage. This meal was full of flavor. It was my first time trying Somali food, and Iβm happy I took the chance. The chicken was tender, the rice and cabbage were good, and the overall meal was very fulfilling. I would definitely come back and eat here again.

This placeβ¦ let me just say that this was my first time trying Somali food and I was blown away. Here comes another review. 1.) Food - INCREDIBLE. Simply PERFECTION. I got a mix of the Chicken Suqaar and the Mango Chicken. An absolute NECESSITY. I got it with his marinated cabbage and pickled onions. Garlic yogurt on top. I simply had one of the best experiences eating this bowl. I also got a Mango Fresca with is and was very happy. 2.) Service - Iβm big on local and authentic. I asked him his favorite and the most authentic style of Somali and he delivered. Coming from someone who didnβt care for cabbage, this was INCREDIBLE. Top tier. 3.) Atmosphere - I mean with it being in North Market, the atmosphere already speaks for itself. Overall, if I could give this place a 10/5 I would. The food was above and beyond better and different than anything Iβve had, the service was amazing, and like I said, the atmosphere speaks for itself. BEST place at North Market.

Incredible food. Visiting town and came to North Market and ended up here and got a bowl with spicy rice, chicken suqaar and safari chicken, chickpeas and spinach with a side of injera bread. Everything tasted delicious, and the service was great too. This was my first time trying Somali food and I definitely will be coming again next time I'm in town.
